Peggy Ward Engh
A California native and a descendant of Gold Rush pioneers, Peggy
holds a B. A. and M. A. in English literature and has taught at the
high school, community college, and university levels. Besides
publishing several articles on local history, she has authored two
books'On the Road Again: The Final Journey of the Julia Weber
Home and Remembrances of Pioneers Past: A Walking Tour of
Harmony Grove Cemetery. She and her husband have traveled widely
around the world and own a "riad" in Marrakesh. In 2006 alone, Peggy spent almost four
months living and working in Morocco.
Rachid
Our expert, government-certified guide attended Fes's prestigious
Karaouine University, the oldest in Morocco, and holds a graduate
degree in tourism from Institut Superieur International Du Tourisme
in Tangier. He speaks fluent (and understandable!) English as well
as French, Arabic, Berber, German, Spanish, and even a little Greek!
Amiable and punctual, he has over 20 years of experience in
